2 DUI Arrests, 1 Night – In 1 night, a man was hit with 2 DUI arrests. It sounds impossible, but the feat was pulled off by a man in Pennsylvania on Monday. Strangely, I don’t believe this is the first time this has ever happened.
Robert Brodnick of Washington, Pa was arrested for the second DUI only 15 minutes after he was released from jail. He was released to the custody of a friend who came to bail him out. The police of Washington, Pa went on about their business.
2 DUI Arrests, 1 Night
After the first DUI arrest, Robert Brodnick’s blood alcohol test was double the legal limit. This means he must have had a quite a few beers on Monday. He was clearly drunk, which leads me to wonder why the police didn’t leave him in jail for the night to detox?
I guess the police officers assumed they were leaving Robert with a responsible party. One that would dare allow him to drive the car again in the same day, right?
Wrong. Apparently, the responsible party must have dropped Robert off at his car. 15 minutes after he was released from jail with a DUI arrest, he was spotted again driving his car, drunk. Believe it or not, it was actually the same police officer that arrested him the first time that night.
The State Trooper that arrested him the first time must have been totally shocked when he say him driving again. He had to shake his head, but I am sure he jumped into action because he knew this driver was a danger on the roads.
2 DUI Arrests in 1 Night is a bit much. Obviously, this man does this on a regular basis. His excuse that he had like two or three beers and wanted to drive his new car home is a load of garbage. A grown man is not going to be double the legal drinking limit in any State long enough to get 2 DUI arrest from a few beers. I am not buying it. Are you? - 2 DUI Arrests, 1 Night

I do not understand how someone who is drinking thinks they can drive. I always advocate taking public transportation, designated driver or a taxi home.

Oddly, I feel sorry for the guy. He didn’t even get a chance to become sober!
The should have let him detox like you said above…

I have to agree with you that I do not understand how someone who is drinking thinks they can drive. I always advocate taking public transportation, designated driver or a taxi home. I don’t even care for that before but it seems very alarming. Yeah! They should have left him in jail with no bail.
