Donations to Haiti Relief Fund: Please Help If You Can

One of our readers put together a niche initiative to help the country of Haiti make it through the terrible disaster that they have endured over the past week, but they are not in the clear yeat and could still use your help.

We are asking the IWP readership to please contribute what you can, but if you could do at least $25 that would be outstanding. One person cannot do everything, but if everyone does a little bit then it will make a tremendous difference in the lives of those people that are in dier need.

I know you might be thinking that this is not your or your people, but it is. We are all in the human family and these are human beings that could use your help. Just imagine if you were in this situation, which could actually happen, and you needed people to help you out. It might not be an earth quake, but it could be a tornado, flood, storm, or national disaster.

So give what you can and be compassionate for these people in need.

Below is the letter from MJ Lawerence of @ Property Consultants that prompted this push. THANK YOU, MJ, FOR ALL YOU DO FOR THE LIVES OF OTHERS!!!

As most of us have seen and heard from the news that Haiti has suffered an un-imaginable natural disaster and thousands have been killed. Well, I didn’t want to be one of those that continue to shake my head and say how terrible. As difficult as things are I can’t even imagine going through something as devastating as an earthquake where there is nowhere to run-nowhere to hide.

So I’ve started a relief fund here at my office and we are all contributing $25.00 each to be forward to Haiti to help buy supplies, food, blankets, clothes, something. I wanted to pass this information along to those of you that have a heart to help.

You can forward funds to: The American Red Cross, P. O. Box 37424, Washington, DC, 20013. Place Haiti in the note section/memo of your check. Sending checks/funds through the Red Cross is the safest way and scam free.

Just thought I would share.
