Randi Zuckerberg Quits Facebook – Facebook founder’s sister quits the company. Randi Zuckerberg decided to walk away from the organization after pouring her heart and soul into the organization.
It had to be a tough decision, but Zuckerberg quits facebook. A new firm is on her mind. It will be another social media company, but not geared to compete with Facebook directly. Randi Zuckerberg said she wants to take advantage of a few social media trends they noticed in the marketplace, so she is going for it.

Don’t worry, there is no bitterness between Randi and Mark Zuckerberg. The siblings part ways on good terms. In fact, Mark encourage Randi to go for her dream. She did a lot for Facebook, still loves the company, but looking forward to new opportunities and challenges as the captain of her own ship.
Randi Zuckerberg resignation letter was submitted recently without a shock from her brother Mark. It include many encouraging words for the Facebook founder and some of the great projects she really enjoyed working on during the years at the social media giant.
One of Randi’s favorite projects was the ABC/Facebook live election night. This was where the social media organization really shined on the one of the big nights in country’s history as the first African American President was crowned.
Randi Zuckerberg said she will continue to sing the praises of Facebook. She called it the greatest social networking platform of all time and many cannot deny this. Sounds like she really enjoyed her time at the company and is looking forward to her new and exciting future on her own, taking risk, and hacking the night away despite not being a serious tech nerd, as she called it.
We all know business and family doesn’t mix well for everyone. It sounds like the Zuckerberg’s found the magic formula for success. After all, the social media giant is the 800 pound gorilla in the space. It knocked off some of the largest companies people thought would never be taking down, like My Space, but the story is far from over.
Maybe success can be achieved by going into business with your family members. The lesson here from the Zuckerberg’s is separate before things go bad and enjoy the good times you had together.

I wondered why she left. Thanks for clarifying. Hopefully she will be successful in her own right.
She left to start her own social media company. I am sure it won’t compete with Facebook directly, but be some sort of niche they felt didn’t fit into the FB business model, but has tremendous upside.
