  • Sharebar

As you can see from last Friday’s post, we are continuing something that was started then, the Round up that is designed to highlight personal finance related articles from around the web that we found to be interesting.

1) Frugal Date Night

It doesn’t matter if you are married or not, everyone is likes to go out on dates. And what better way to enjoy your date than having a good time and saving some money in the process. Anyone that would object to this obviously doesn’t know  your personal drive to not only generate cash flow, but to keep it. Check out some of these ideas, woo your babycakes, have a good time, but don’t break the bank.

2) Christmas on a Budget

Believe it or not, Christmas is less than three months out. That means it is definitely time to start thinking about what you are getting others and how you are going to pay for it. Part of what makes people not appreciate this holiday is the debt the go into to make it enjoyable. But this isn’t the idea that is going to get you the long term financial freedom you want and deserve. Therefore, you need to know how to control yourself and your spending. Take a look at this article for some ideas on how to get through Christmas on a respectable budget.

3) Sex, Nudity, Pizza, and Free Beer

This is actually not what you think it is. It is actually a very good article that breaks down how to go about investing in a particular company. The title of the article was a crafty way for the author to get people to pay attention to what he or she is writing. Either way, it worked on me and you should check it out as well. Let us know what you think!

4) Using Your Credit Card Can Be Frugal

Finally someone has a positive spin on credit cards and how to use them to be frugal. This article really goes about explaining how you can be such a person. One of my favorite points in teh article is when she explains the two type of people that uses credit, one that uses it for finance and the one that uses it as a method of payment. Which one are you?

5) Rich People Think

Just from browsing through this site I was drawn by the title of this article. I mean, isn’t this what we all want to be… a rich thinker? I think it is or you wouldn’t be reading this website at all. Therefore, maybe you should check out this article that is actually an interview with Steve Siebol  about the mind of the rich.

6) Coupons

Who cannot use some coupons. We found a site that was purely dedicated to bringing you just that and we thought that we would share it with you. Enjoy!

That’s all for now

That is going to bring us to the end of our second Round Up of personal finance articles. Hopefully you enjoyed them. Let us know what you thought of the article selections. And if you have any articles that you would like to recommend to the readership, please don’t hesitate to do so.
